The map we work from
Reflexology treats the sole as a chart of the body: press here, and something further up answers. Tap a point to see what it corresponds to, and how long a session it usually takes.
Sole of the right foot
Point 1 · Toes
The toes carry the head and neck. This is where we start when someone arrives with a tight jaw, a stiff neck, or the low hum of a headache that has been there since Tuesday.
Start with: 30-minute reflexology, $45

Reflexology and hilot are traditional wellness practices. They are not medical treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from your doctor. If something is seriously wrong, please see one.
What hilot is
The name was inspired by the word “HILOT,” a Filipino term that refers to a traditional healing practice involving acupressure and soft tissue manipulation. Healot R Us
Hilot works by hand. Pressure is applied to points connected to thousands of nerve endings, which correspond to specific parts of the body, to ease pain and settle the nervous system. It is practised widely in the Philippines and has been carried everywhere Filipinos have gone.
The closest thing to it in Western terms is orthopedic therapy: restoring function and relieving pain in muscle and joint. That is the honest comparison. This is not a spa treatment dressed up as medicine, and it is not pampering. It is somebody who knows the map finding the thing that hurts and working on it.
We have been on Oakton Street since 2025, part of VRC Massage & Wellness.
A first visit
Two minutes, before anything starts. Where it hurts, how long it has been there, and anything we should stay away from. Pressure gets set to what you can take, not to a script.
Feet first, in a lounge chair, or full body on the table for hilot. You stay clothed for reflexology. Warm towels, dim light, and no talking unless you want to.
Water, and a minute to sit. Some people feel it settle the same evening, some the next morning. If one area needs more time, we will tell you which and how long.
The room
If you come in more than once a month, a package costs less per session. Sessions do not expire, and they can be used for either reflexology or hilot.
